Rock Road Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time groomer to join our team. The separate grooming facility is located right next door to the hospital building. Grooming table, tubs, dryers, and cages are provided. The hospital will also cover the cost of grooming supplies and sharpening of tools. Rock Road Animal Hospital will work closely with the grooming staff to ensure that patients receive the required vaccinations before grooming. They will also be available to address any medical needs identified by the groomer. Medication or sedation can also be provided for current patients of Rock Road Animal Hospital if the doctors and groomer agree that is the best for the patient.
Position: Pet Groomer
Compensation: Commission-based (40% of total gross invoices)
PTO based on length of employment
Simple IRA with company matching up to 3%

Job description: Full-time groomer
Completed coursework at a certified grooming academy or at least 5 years of grooming experience.
Must be willing to groom all sizes of dogs and cats.
Groomer must be able to provide full grooming services, including bathing, clipping, scissor-cuts, nail trims, ear cleanings.
Hospital reception staff will handle all scheduling and billing.
Groomer is responsible for grooming duties, communicating with owners about their particular requests and wishes for their pet.
